Green Events and Green Business Events (certifying labels) are intended to reduce the environmental footprint of events held in Luxembourg and thus to promote eco-friendly practices by informing, raising awareness and providing advice and guidance to organisers who wish to embark on hosting green events.
Green Events and Green Business Events are projects of the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity.
The Oekozenter Pafendall ASBL (non-profit organisation) and SuperDrecksKëscht have been tasked with coordinating the project and with providing advice to the organisers.

To level your event as a Green (Business) Event and obtain the official logo, you must meet specific criteria in various areas, such as:
- Communication
- Decoration and materials
- Mobility of participants/guests
- Food and beverages
- Waste
- Resources: water, sanitation, energy
- Environmental commitment
