The second MONDORF RUn

organized  by MONDORF Domaine Thermal with the support of Spiridon 08 Lëtzebuerg, will be held on

Thursday, 9 May 2024 at Mondorf-les-Bains.

The start and finish will be held in the thermal park. The 5 km and 10 km runs will take the runners through Mondorf-les-Bains and Burmerange. Children will also have their race exclusively on the paths of the thermal park.


  • As of 9:00 am: Pick up of race numbers (Foyer of the Al Thermen hall)
  • 10:30 am: Start of children’s race - Free!
  • 10:45 am: Runners’ warm-up
  • 11:00 am: Start of the 5km and 10* km runs
  • 12:30 pm: Prize awarding ceremony

*A refreshment station for the 10km run with fresh fruit offered by Grosbusch ;-) 

The time of the run is limited to 1 hour 30 minutes.

You can still finish the run, but please note that the run will reopen to traffic as of 12:30 pm. The last km will be run in the thermal park.


  • Race counting towards the Spiridon Cup 2024
  • A changing room and showers will be at your disposal
  • Snacking on site and restauration en terrasse at the foot of the starting line

Are you a beginner or an amateur runner? 
Our Fitness coaches have devised a bespoke gradual training programme for your running goals.

Come and attend 2 sessions a week:

  • Tuesdays at 6:45 pm, Interval Training
  • Thursdays at 7:30 pm, Run Training -  from 4 April to 2 May

Gino Antoine - Certified Coach

For Gino, running is far more than just a job…
his track record speaks for itself:

  • Studies at the Institut National du Sport, de l'Expertise et de la Performance (INSEP) [National Institute of Sport, Expertise and Performance] from 1989 to 1996
  • 1st  in the National Junior Hurdles Championship (1991)
  • 2nd in the decathlon at the African Athletics Championship (1992)
  • 2 participations in the decathlon at the Olympic Games (1992 in Barcelona; 1996 in Atlanta)
  • Coach of athletes at the Diekrich Celtic Club (2004 to 2019) propelling the club to 8 consecutive years + Champions of Luxembourg clubs and participation in the European Championships in Amsterdam.
